Wendell E. Parker

Wendell Earl Parker, 75, of Smiths Grove, Kentucky passed away Sunday, November 14, 2021 at his residence. He was born February 20, 1946 in Railton, Kentucky to the late Willis Hall Parker and Mildred Houchens Parker. Wendell was a truck driver for the Kentucky State Road Department until he retired and attended Bethel United Methodist Church. Survivors include his children, Joseph Parker (Sherri), Cecil Parker, Donna Diecidue (Frank); three grandchildren, Tara Parker, Lydia Diecidue, Sophia Diecidue; two great grandchildren, Emily Abston and Amelia Shaw; two sisters, Shirley Morrison and Jean Lay; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Velma Lougene Piercy Parker and infant brother, Danny Hall Parker. The funeral service for Mr. Parker will be held 1:00 PM Monday, November 22nd at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Shiloh Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Monday morning until time for the service at the funeral home. A. F. Crow & Son is honored to be entrusted in the care of Mr. Parker.
