William Marshall Baine 82 of Smiths Grove died Monday, March 10, 2014 at the Glasgow Health and Rehab Center. Born in Lebanon, KY he was the son of the late William Franklin and Dora Mae Scrogham Baine and the husband of the late Rebecca Ann Witcher Baine. Mr. Baine was a mechanic foreman for the Jefferson County Police for 30 years, member of the Buechel Masonic Lodge # 896 in Louisville and member of the Jefferson County Fraternal Order of Police. Survivors include 2 daughters Nancy Louise Witcher, husband Edgar of Smiths Grove, Dora Maria Zierer of Bonnieville; 1 daughter-in-law Mardell Hagan of Greensburg; 7 grandchildren Michael Witcher, Laura Batey, Tina Hagan, Jennifer Hibbard, Chris Taylor, Terry Taylor and D. Hagan; 10 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren; 1 brother Loy Hart, wife Barbara of Summersville; 1 sister Dorothy Belk of California; 1 sister in law Jewell Lindsey of Glasgow and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his first wife Delcia Mae Riley Baine, 3 step sons Ernest, Sydney and Ricky Hagan along with 3 sisters and 2 brothers. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, March 13th at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Shiloh Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
