William Barrick

William Cecil Barrick 98 of Glasgow died Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Born in Barren Co. he was the son of the late James Hershel Barrick and Lula Ada Kinslow Barrick and husband of the late Vada Brown Renfro Barrick. Mr. Barrick was a member of the Cedar Grove Baptist Church and a retired farmer. Survivors include a daughter Margaret Maggard of Loda, IL; a son Billy Barrick (Dean) of Glasgow; 6 grandchildren Karen Foster, Wanda Duke-Scott, Sandie Crabtree, Debbie Gustafson, Gary Maggard and Clifton Maggard; 12 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren; a brother Bobby Joe Barrick of Glasgow; a special friend Margaret Crabtree of Glasgow. In addition to his parents and wife he is preceded in death by a son-in-law Erroll Maggard, a grandchild David Maggard, 4 brothers and 1 sister. Funeral services will be 3:00pm Saturday, February 9, 2008 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5:30pm Friday at the funeral home.
