William "Bill" Lyons

William Carroll Lyons 78 of Glasgow died Monday, September 1, 2014 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital. Born in Glasgow, he was a son of the late Roger and Marguerite Sherrell Lyons. Mr. Lyons was a retired HVAC project manager and was a veteran serving in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Columbia Ave. Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife Margie Rogers Lyons; 2 sons Brad Lyons (Brenda) of Johnston, IA and Jeff Lyons (Susan) of Glasgow; a daughter Lorie Taylor (Joe) of Glasgow; 6 grandchildren Greg, Doug, Eric, Candler and Taylor Lyons and Aiden Neagle; 1 great-grand-daughter McKinley Thomas and his brother Tommy Lyons (Kay) of Glasgow. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Dewayne Lyons. Funeral services will be 11am Thursday, Sept 4th at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home and burial with military honors provided by D.A.V. Chapter 20 of Glasgow in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4pm until 8pm.
