William "Billy" Poore

William L. "Billy" Poore 68 of Glasgow died Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green. He was born in Glasgow the son of the late William Leon and Maple Goode Poore. Billy retired after 42 years of work for R. R. Donnelley & Sons in Glasgow. He was a past president of Glasgow Little League and had been a little league coach for many years which he loved. He loved playing golf, especially with his golfing buddies and loved his family and spending time with them. Billy was a member of Coral Hill Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Vicki Reagan Poore; sons, Chris (Stacy) Poore and Jason (Bonita) Poore; daughter Lillianna Whitlow; brother Jimmy (Bonnie) Poore; sister Janet (Marshall) Broady; grandchildren Travis, Michael, Tyler, Matthew and Dylan; nephews James "Mo" (Nedra) Poore, Tim (Karyn) Harlow and Mike (Pam) Ryan and his niece Marsha Broady. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sons Jonathan Brent Poore and Benjamin Scott Poore; sister Martha Poore; grandparents Roy and Ada Poore and James and Nannie Goode; father-in-law Billy Reagan; mother-in-law Alma McCandless and a nephew Mark Ryan. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday, May 15th at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM Sunday.
