William Bryant

William Dave Bryant, age 94, of Caneyville, passed away Sunday, November 10th, 2013. William was born on April 28th, 1919 in Butler County the son of the late Dave and Leora (Embry) Bryant. He was a retired carpenter and a member of the Christian Home Church of Christ. He is survived by his loving wife of 74 years, Lillious (Phelps) Bryant of Caneyville; two daughters; Patsy Brown of Butler County and Elise Sanders of Bowling Green; four sons, Douglas Mac (Faye) Bryant and S.G. (Mary) Bryant both of Big Clifty, M.D. (Rennie) Bryant and Norman (Vera) Bryant both of Butler County; one daughter-in-law, Linda (Bryant) Crain of Caneyville; one sister, Stella Mode of Morgantown; fifteen grandchildren; twenty two great-grandchildren; four step great-grandchildren and two step great-great-grandchildren. Other than his parents, William is preceded in death by one son, Andy Bryant; one sister and three brothers. Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 12th at 11:00 a.m. at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro Miles Tomes and Bro Kurt McClelland will be officiating. Burial will be in the Curtis Woosley Cemetery.Friends may call at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville Monday after 4:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
