William Burks

William Franklin 'Frankie' Burks, Jr. 68 of Glasgow died Sunday, September 13, 2015 at Metcalfe County Health Care in Edmonton. He was born in Glasgow the son of the late William Franklin 'Bill' and Velma Burks. Frankie was retired from SKF/RBC Co. in Glasgow and was a member of Glasgow Wesleyan Church. He is survived by his wife Diane Perkins Burks; mother-in-law Marie Elmore of Glasgow; 2 brothers-in-law Richard Elmore and Clifton Elmore of Glasgow; 1 step-son Bubby Perkins of Glasgow; a step-daughter Alisa Perkins of New Albany, IN and a granddaughter Briana Perkins. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son William Harold Burks and his first wife Anita Gail Elmore Burks. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, September 17th at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4pm until 8pm.
