William Burton

William Burton Jr, age 82, of Glasgow, passed away, Thursday, May 16, 2024, at Signature Healthcare in Glasgow. William was born in Glasgow, on August 19, 1941, to the late Willie Burton and the late Mae Lee Burton (Post). He was an apartment manager and a proud veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include four children, William Burton, David Burton, Sandra Burton, and Barbara Brooks; siblings, Robert Burton, Carrie Smith, and Donnie Burton; several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews also survive
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Connie Jordan; three siblings, Rex Burton, Doris Cruse, and Carolyn Wheeler.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, May 19th, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM Sunday until time for the service at the funeral home.
Military honors will be provided at the cemetery by the Glasgow DAV Chapter #20.
