William Riley Collins 77 of Glasgow died Friday, June 11, 2010 at the Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green after a brief illness. He was born in Barren County and was the son of the late Gennie and Letha Scrivner Collins. He grew up in Barren County and attended public school and was united in marriage to the late Eunice Williams Collins in 1965. Mr. Collins was retired after 45 years as an employee of James N. Gray Construction Co. and was a member and a Deacon at Oak Grove Baptist Church. He is survived by a son William 'Billy' Buford and wife Melita of Memphis, TN; 7 grandchildren B.J. Buford of Memphis, TN, Malea Graham of Lexington, KY, and Monika, Martell, Marita, Maurica and Mariah Graham all of Bowling Green; 9 great grandchildren; a niece Alice G. Lee of Glasgow and a host of great nieces and nephews, cousins, friends and special cousin Maria Mitchell of Glasgow. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Eunice Williams Collins, 2 sisters Emily L. Graham and May Ella Brown, one niece Wanda J. Shirley and a nephew Frank Graham, Jr. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at the Oak Grove Baptist Church with burial in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home on Monday from 5:00pm until 8:00pm and at the Oak Grove Baptist Church on Tuesday from 11:00am until time for the service.
