William Davis

William Wallace Davis, age 93, of Glasgow, died Friday, March 19, 2021 at the Shanti Niketan Hospice Home in Glasgow. He was born in Detroit, MI on June 21, 1927, to the late Gilliam Owen Davis and the late Ethel (Richey) Davis. Mr. Davis was a farmer and retired from SKF. He was a member of Hickory College Church of Christ. He is survived by one son, Rickey Davis (Terry) of Glasgow; three daughters, Brenda Honeycutt (David) of Glasgow, Faye McCubbins (John) of Munfordville, and Sheila Mattingly (Greg) of Glasgow; 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren also survive. In addition to his parents, he is preceded by his wife Dorothy Jean Taylor Davis. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, March 22nd at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral home with a private burial for family only at Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 11:00 AM until time for services at the funeral home. All those who wish to honor and remember Mr. Davis in person at the service must wear a mask or other appropriate facial covering and practice physical distancing for the safety of those in attendance.
