William Davis

William Harold Davis 85 of Glasgow, died Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at the Barren County Health Care Center. Born in Barren County he was the son of the late Willie John and Cecil Duncan Davis and the husband of the late Margaret Elizabeth Matthews Davis. Mr. Davis was a U S Army veteran of WWII, farmer and member of the Freedom Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include 2 sons Rev. Billy Neal Davis of Mt Hermon, Steve Davis and wife Vicky of Glasgow, 1 daughter Scarlett Edmunds and husband Donnie of Glasgow, 5 grandchildren Brent Davis, Ben Davis, Bethany Richerson, James Carlton Edmunds and Levi Davis, 1 great-grandchild Kaley Richerson, 1 sister Emma Depp of Glasgow. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Friday, November 9, 2007 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial with military honors provided by DAV Chapter 20 of Glasgow in the Poplar Log Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2PM on Thursday, November 8, 2007 at the funeral home.
