William Dearing

William C. 'Butch' Dearing 64 of Merry Oaks in Barren County died Saturday, October 6, 2012 at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was the son of the late Clifton and Olene Mosby Dearing. He was a self employed electrician and was a retired from the Barren County School System after 21 years as a bus driver. Mr. Dearing was a U.S. Army veteran of the Viet Nam War. Survivors include his wife Patsy; 2 sons Dewayne Dearing (Laurie) of Rocky Hill, and Kris Dearing of Glasgow; a daughter Jenny Dearing of Glasgow; 2 sisters Patsy Ann Jones (Earl) of Stafford, VA and Faith Piper (Donald) of Scottsville; a brother Mark Dearing (Sandra) of Smiths Grove; 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by an infant daughter Allyson Danielle Dearing. Funeral services will be 2pm Wednesday, October 10th at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Merry Oaks Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11am Tuesday.
