William "Bill" Delano Bush, 83, of Roopville, Georgia passed away Sunday, January 30, 2022 at the West Georgia Hospice in LaGrange, Georgia. He was born March 17, 1938 in Etoile, Kentucky to the late Wendell Bush and Eula Humphrey Bush. A 1957 graduate of Glasgow High School, he attended Columbus College Art and Design, University of Chicago and Art Institute of Chicago, New York University, and Tulane University, where he obtained his final degree, his Master's. Bill was an artist and an Art Instructor at Vermont College, Mark Hopkins College, and Tulane University. In his later years, he was a real estate agent. Mr. Bush was an Army veteran and of the Christian faith. Survivors include his sister, Dorothy Austin of Glasgow; one brother, George Bush (Joan) of Pensacola, Florida; ten nieces and nephews, Russell Austin (Brenda) of Glasgow, Prytha Wilson (Leslie) of Eighty-Eight, Gwen Barbour of Glasgow, Mary Anne Mathews (Tracy) of Louisville, Kim Marshall (Greg) of Paris, Kelly Milan (Bill) of Fountain Run, Karen Bennett (Jeremy) of Glasgow, Joe Spann (Jill) of Riva, Maryland, Lynnell Derryberry (Dwayne) of Smyrna, Tennessee, and Brad Bush (Robin) of Harvest, Alabama. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Burnell Spann Clouse. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to West Georgia Hospice 1510 Vernon Road LaGrange, Georgia 30240. The funeral service for Mr. Bush will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 8th at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Tuesday morning until time for the service at the funeral home. A. F. Crow & Son is honored to be entrusted in the care of Mr. Bush.
