William Emmitt

William Richard Emmitt 74 of Cave City died Thursday, June 30, 2016 at his home. He was born in Glasgow, the son of the late William Walker Emmitt and Doshia Walden Emmitt. Mr. Emmitt was a Line Transmission repairman for the Chrysler Co. in Kokomo, IN. He is survived by his companion of 33 years Betty Carroll of Cave City; son Jeff Emmitt (Jodie ) of Delphi, IN; daughter Tammy Harlan of Delphi, IN; 1 brother Floyd Emmitt (Vera) of Glasgow; 4 sisters Birdie Lake (Bill) of Delphi, IN, Martha Seele (Dave) of Rockfield, IN, Dorothy Frye (Lonnie) of Camden, IN and Diana West (Terry) of Lafayette, IN; 3 grandchildren Christopher Emmitt, Jimmy Lane(Amanda) and Dustin Lane all of Lafayette, IN and 5 great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside services will be 2pm Sunday, July 3rd at Walden Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 12:00 until 2:00 at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.
