William Furlong

William ' Billy' Furlong 59 of Glasgow died Thursday August 6, 2009 at his home. Born in Barren County the son of the late Ralph Furlong and Frankie Mae Ritter Furlong who survives. Mr. Furlong was a former employee of R.R. Donnelly & Son. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in Vietnam and a member of Browders Chapel Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Debbie Kepple Guffey Furlong of Glasgow; mother Frankie Mae Ritter Furlong of Glasgow; daughter Tonya Taylor (Chad) of Glasgow; stepson Drew Guffey of Bowling Green; grandson Jackson Lance Taylor of Glasgow; 2 sisters Linda Dowell (Bobby) of St. Louis, MO & Evelyn Jones of Glasgow; 1 brother Mike Furlong (Sue) of Glasgow. Funeral services will be 1:00PM Saturday August 8, 2009 at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municicpal Cemetery with Military honors provided DAV Chapter #20 of Glasgow. Visitation will be after 11:00AM Friday at the Funeral Home. In Lieu of flowers the family request that a donation be made to the Make a Wish Foundation of America Gift Processing Center P.O.
