William Lee Gordon 75 of Glasgow died Thursday December 4, 2008 in Glasgow. He was born in Marshall County, KY the son of the late Charles Homer Gordon and Erma Smith Gordon Barnhart. Mr. Gordon was co-owner of Automotive Parts and Shop in Glasgow where he retired in 1995 and was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Gordon received his private pilot's license and enjoyed flying airplanes and had many hobbies including flying radio controlled planes. He was a member of Columbia Ave. Church of Christ where he was a former Deacon. He is survived by his wife Wanda Edwards Gordon; a daughter Becky Gordon Bale and husband Billy of LaFollette, TN; 3 grandchildren Casey, Kenny and Bryan Bale; great grandchildren; 2 half sisters Diane (John) Roberts and Debbie (Dewayne) Whitlock of Hodgenville, KY; a brother-in-law Donald (Patt) Edwards of Glasgow; a sister-in-law Jackie Gordon of Florida and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter Jane Terry Gordon and a brother Don Gordon. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday December 8, 2008 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. Burial with full military honors provided by DAV Chapter 20 of Glasgow, will be in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Monday from 9:00am until time for services.
