William Greever

William H. 'Popstick' Greever 63 of Temple Hill died Friday July 22, 2011 at his residence. He was born in Barren County the son of the late William Henry Greever and Sarah Katherine Carter Greever. William was employed as a road grader operator for the Barren County Road Department for many years and was a Baptist. Survivors include his wife Rita Greever of Temple Hill; 5 Children Teresa Staples (Dale) of Mt. Hermon, Jason Greever (Brandy) of Mt. Hermon, Christie Trivett (Johnathan) Temple Hill, Jennifer Ballard of Temple Hill and Scott Ballard of Austin Tracy; 10 grandchildren Landyn Trivett, Heather Staples, Tara Staples, Blake Greever, Briley Greever, Brennan Walls, Brayden Walls, Dillon Trivett, Leslie Staples and Dakota Ballard; 3 sisters Linda Martin (Danny) of Edmonton, Brenda Hiser (Robert) of Austin Tracy and Patty Harrison (Dave) of Austin Tracy; 2 brothers Jimmy Greever (Lisa) Mt. Hermon and Tommy Greever (Darlene) Glasgow; mother-in-law Ann Bruce of Cave Cityt, brother-in-law Gary Harrod of Cave City and 5 nieces and 5 nephews also survive. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by 1 brother Paul Greever, 1 sister Barbara Greever, 1 nephew Jeff Greever and 1 great grandchild Hayden Miller. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Monday July 25, 2011 at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Poplar Log Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:00am Sunday at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.
