William Kirn

William Joseph Kirn 75 of Glasgow died Thursday, September 1, 2016 at his home. He was born in Louisville, KY the son of the late George August Kirn and Lula Belle Greever Lyons. Joe was a driver for UPS for over 30 years and also served 5 years in the U. S. Air Force. He was a member of St. Helen's Catholic Church and was a former member of the Knights of Columbus and the Kiwanis Club. He is survived by his wife Lee Ann (Gass) Kirn; 3 daughters Medina Jo Green and Angela Gay Springer (Chris) of Glasgow and Stacy Lea Kirn-Barker (Brian) of Lexington; 3 grandchildren Chase Christie, Miranda Miller and Sydney Springer; a niece Sherry Kirn-Bishop (Billy) of Glasgow and his step-father Roger Reid Lyons of Glasgow. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Gregory Allen Kirn, a son-in-law Gary Green and his brother James Edward Kirn. A Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 AM Monday, September 5th at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm. The Rosary service will be 7:30pm Sunday.
