William Miller

William D. 'Billy' Miller 85 of Crestwood, KY died Wednesday July 23, 2008 at the Oak Tree Hospital in LaGrange, KY. He was born in Barren County the son of the late Frank and Iva Travis Miller. Mr. Miller was a heavy equipment mechanic and was a former local employee of Tommy Wells Construction Co. and Ideal Hardware. More recently he was employed by LaGrange Lumber Company. He was a member of the Crestwood Baptist Church and a member of the Antique Car Club in Glasgow. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. Survivors include his wife Louise Wells Miller; a daughter Peggy Jolly (Bob) of Crestwood, KY; 2 grandsons Chris Jolly and Andra Jolly (Christy) all of Crestwood; 3 great-grandchildren Kyle Elzy, Christian and Tabitha Jolly and a sister Shirley Totty (Ron) of Melbourne, FL. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Saturday July 26, 2008 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery with full military honors provided by DAV Chapter 20 of Glasgow. Visitation will be on Saturday from 12:00 until 2:00pm at the funeral home. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorial contributions to the American Heart Assn.
