William Nottingham

William 'Bill' Nottingham, 81, of Leitchfield, KY passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield, KY. He was born March 27, 1934 in Hudson, KY to the late Coll and Cattie Nottingham. While stationed in Hawaii, William served as part of the Military Police in the 27th Infantry of the US Army. Later, he retired from Hobart Manufacturing Co. in Louisville and then became a self-employed farmer and carpenter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Gertrude Henderson, Velma McCamish, Allene Carman and Irene Brown. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Odell (Graham) Nottingham, four children, Kathy Smith (Gary) of McDaniels, Rick Nottingham (Tom Jones) of Louisville, Lisa Higgins (Michael) of Pace, Florida and Debbie Anderson (Keith) of Falls of Rough, two sisters, Judy Mercer and Diane Manning of Louisville. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Ashley Conway, Lauren McKendree, and Zachary and Rachael Higgins, one great-grandchild, Francesca Conway. Funeral services will be Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Watson and Hunt Funeral Home in Leitchfield with burial at Madrid Pentecostal Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. and again Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Madrid Pentecostal Church Cemetery Madrid, KY
