William Oliver

William Reed 'Bill' Oliver 84 of Mt. Hermon, KY died Friday, October 18, 2013 at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Born at Mt. Hermon, he was the son of the late Virgil and Laura Richey Oliver. He was a veteran, serving in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Bill was retired from Sorensen Mfg. after 30 years and was a member of the Dover Baptist Church at Mt. Hermon. Survivors include his fianc Noel Peers of Glasgow; a brother Bernice Oliver and wife Evelyn of Glasgow; a nephew Todd Oliver and wife Sharon of Glasgow; and 3 great nephews Alex Oliver, Jeremy Page and wife Alicia and Derek Page and wife Danielle all of Glasgow. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 22nd at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Poplar Log Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2pm Monday.
