William Rogers

William Clayton Rogers 63 of Cave City, KY died Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, KY. Born in Olean, NY he is the son of the late Clayton and Marjorie Jean Parker Rogers. Mr. Rogers attended the Coral Hill Church of God and was a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict serving in the U. S. Marines. Survivors include his wife Lela Gail Emmitt Rogers; 4 daughters Eula Jean Thompson (John) of Cave City, Amber Ferguson (Jimmy) of Cave City, Stephanie McClellan (Geoff) of Brazil, IN and Angie Hinton (Dave) of Brazil, IN; 2 sons Billy Rogers (Barbara) and Christopher Rogers both of Indianapolis, IN; 11 grandchildren; 2 sisters Ann Cobb (David Jones)of Newnan, GA and Jessica Bernadette of Morristown, NJ; a brother Max Rogers of Rockaway, NJ; a sister-in-law Linda Rogers of Newton, NJ and several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Theodore 'Teddy' Rogers. Funeral services will be 3:00pm Friday, September 24, 2010 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Old Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10:00am Friday at the funeral home.
