William Smith

William Freeman Smith 87 of Glasgow, KY died Sunday June 5, 2005 in the Emergency Room at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was born in Barren County the son of the late James and Ida Mae Thompson Smith. Mr. Smith was a retired machinist with the Stewart-Warner Company and he attended the Samson Street Church of God. He is survied by his wife Gertrude Allen Smith; 1 son C. Calvin Smith and wife Vicki of Glasgow; 4 brothers Wilmer Smith of Glasgow, Cecil Smith of Hillsboro, IN, Eagle Smith of Pekin, IN and Randall Smith of Mace, IN; 1 sister Jessie Houchens of Glasgow; 3 grandsons: C. Douglas Smith and wife Valorie of Tampa, FL, John William Smith of Tampa, FL and Stephan Wayne Smith and wife Christine of Glasgow; 1 step grandson Collin Haskett of Glasgow and 2 great grandchildren Dakota Ryan Smith and Jasmine Michelle Smith. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday June 8, 2005 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5pm until 8pm at the funeral home.
