William Terry

William Andrew Terry, Jr. 82 of Glasgow died Friday, July 19, 2013 at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was born in New Albany, IN the son of the late William Andrew Terry, Sr. and Mary Hammerlein Terry. Mr. Terry was an employee of S&T Hardware Industries for 42 years and was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Allen Lodge #24 F&AM, Glasgow Lions club and had been active with the Glasgow Little League and the Boy Scouts. He is survived by his son, Bill Terry and wife Christine of Glasgow; 3 sisters Mary Louise Anderson of Benton, KY, Wilma Coleman of Ft. Wayne, IN and Janet Boardman and husband Charles of Severna Park, MD. Several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Lois Self Terry and a sister Norma Terry. Funeral services will be 2pm Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 5pm until 8pm. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorial contributions to the First United Methodist Church Building Fund, 500 S. Green St., Glasgow, KY 42141.
