William Thompson

William Clifton 'Shorty' Thompson 90 of Glasgow died Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Barren Co. Health Care. He was born in Barren County the son of the late Will and Bessie Staples Thompson. He was also preceded in death by his wife Gladys Wilson Thompson. Mr. Thompson was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include his daughter Jackie Garner of Glasgow; a granddaughter Cassandra Garner of Glasgow; 1 sister Nettie Ruth Bingham of Paducah; 1 brother Raymond Jewell Thompson of Texas and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by 2 sisters Edith Gooch and Ruby Hause and a brother Ralph Thompson. Funeral services will be 2pm Friday, March 22, 2013 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5pm Thursday. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Calvary Baptist Church, P.O.
