William Wagoner

William E. 'Bill' Wagoner 81 of Glasgow died Tuesday January 3, 2006 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was born in Cave City, KY the son of the late Lewis and Rosa Coomer Wagoner. Mr. Wagoner was a long time bluegrass musician and was retired after 35 years with the Handmacher Company in Glasgow. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII and was a member of the South Green St. Church of Christ. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Mary Wagoner and a brother Marshall Blair. Survivors include his wife Marcella; three sons Eddie Wagoner and wife Kay, Marshall Wagoner and wife Mary and Ernie Wagoner and wife Martha all of Glasgow; four grandchildren Jonna Wagoner, Jennifer Merrit, Mike Ward and Michelle Self; five great grandchildren; one sister Martha Short and husband Jerry of Woodstock, GA and several brothers and sisters in law. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Friday January 6, 2006 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:00 am on Thursday.
