Willie Decker

Willie 'Cap' Decker Jr, 86, of Yeaman, passed away Tuesday, July 14th, 2015 at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield. He was born on Saturday, May 11th, 1929 in Grayson County, the son of the late Willie and Rebecca (Renfrow) Decker. Willie retired from the State Highway Department and enjoyed farming. Willie is survived by his six sons, Richard Young, William Decker, Paul Decker (Rita), Jeff Decker, David Decker and Dwight Decker all of Yeaman; one sister, Mildred Decker of Louisville; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Mona (Young) Decker and several brothers and sisters.Funeral services will be Friday, July 17th at 11:00 am at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville. Burial will be in the Yeaman Cemetery.Friends may call at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville Thursday after 3:00 pm and Friday from 9:00 am until time of service.
