Wilma Jean Bybee

Wilma Jean Bybee, 92, passed away Monday, August 26, 2024, at Barren County Health Care. She was born on October 23, 1931, in Etoile, Kentucky to the late Haskel Francis and the late Ova Mae (Gramlin) Francis.

Wilma was a member of Glasgow Bible Church. She served her community for several years working at TJ Samson Community Hospital as an LPN. Wilma loved spending her time working outside, quilting, and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughters, Karen Pickett (Gary), Marcia Dillingham (Charles), Debora Bybee; her grandchildren, Jason Pickett, Melanie Kelley (Rusty), Taylor Dillingham (Tyler), Jeremy Bybee, Cory Glass (Alley); great grandchildren, Kyla Kelley (John), Kody Kelley, Salem Garmon, Avrie Thrasher; great great grandchildren, Alexyn Rodgers, Aria Rodgers, Aivi Rodgers, and Evalee Turner; brother-in-law, Hershal Kerley; several nieces, nephews, and several close friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Allen Bybee; and siblings, Helen Roeder, Howard Francis, Vera Nell McCoy, Patricia Kerley, and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral services for Wilma will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 31st at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Saturday morning until time for the service at the funeral home.
