Zelma M. Groce 90 of Glasgow died Thursday April 10, 2008 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. She was born in Woodlake, CA to the late Charlie Taylor Dearing and Annie Richey Dearing. She was the wife of the late John Robert Groce. Mrs. Groce was a former employee of the KY Pants Co., a homemaker and assisted her husband with Groce Oil Company. She was a member of the Dover Baptist Church at Haywood. Survivors include 2 sons, Bobby Groce (Jan) and Kenneth Groce (Betty Lou); a daughter Sue Yates (John) all of Glasgow; 6 grandchildren Jeff Groce, Myra (Mike) Wheeler, Brad (Beth) Groce, Bruce (Bridget) Groce all of Glasgow, Lana Rae (Jeff) Blaine of Bowling Green and John (Amy) Yates of Mt. Vernon, KY., 11 great-grandchildren and 1 sister Rachel Greenwell of Frankfort, KY. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter Faith Groce, 2 sisters Gladys Bertram and Georgeann Rayburn and a brother Murrell Dearing. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, April 12th at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5:00pm Friday.
