Zelma Underwood

Zelma Ruth Underwood 91 of Glasgow died Sunday, September 2, 2012 at the NHC Healthcare facility in Glasgow. She was born in Glasgow a daughter of the late Wert and Josie Martin Underwood. Zelma was a beautician and with her sister formerly operated Underwood's Beauty Salon for many years. She was a member of the Cedar Grove Baptist Church but had attended the Glasgow Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Lucille and Betty Underwood and a brother Bill Underwood. Survivors include her sister-in-law Maxine Underwood of Glasgow; 2 nephews Mark Underwood and wife Rita of Glasgow and Scott Underwood of Nashville; 1 niece Monica Lile and husband Marty of Bowling Green; 1 great niece, 3 great nephews, 6 great-great nieces and 1 great-great nephew. A Graveside service will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday, Sept. 5th at the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral home on Wednesday from 10am until time for the service.
