Zenna Sartin

Zenna Maybelle Sartin 94 of Summer Shade died Monday June 13, 2011 at Barren County Health Care. She was born in Metcalfe County the daughter of the late James Corbert Shirley and Clora Clark Shirley. Her husband was the late Pendie Sartin. She was a former employee of the dietary department at the T.B. Hospital and was a member of the Summer Shade Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include her son Roger Sartin (Dorothy) of South Bend, IN; 2 daughters Bobbie Lewis (Daniel) of Michigan and Shirley Wood of Indiana; a brother George Shirley (Sally)of Glasgow; 6 sisters Zella Burris of Indiana, Zelma Odell of Anderson, IN, Magnolia Hayes of Edmonton, KY, Myrtle Russell of Indiana, Mary Love of Illinois and Marjorie Hoskin of Illinois; 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren and special friends Rebecca Fishback, Mary Moore, Farah Moore and Joyce Driver also survive.. She was also preceded in death by a son Charles Sartin, 3 brothers Dennis, Cleo and John Shirley and a sister Lillian Staton. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, June 18, 2011 at the Summer Shade Missionary Baptist Church with burial in the Trinity Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 5pm until 8pm at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.
