Kenny Shepperd graduated from Hart County High, Eastern Kentucky University, and Mid America College of Mortuary. He and his wife Kelly reside in Horse Cave. They have two children and four grandchildren. Caroline, Elena, Heidi, and Jace.
Randy has been a resident of Barren County the biggest part of his life. He was a Hairdresser for 36 years, employed at Dart for 5 1/2 years. He has now been at A.F. Crow for 3 years now and enjoy helping people in their time of sorrow.
Ollie has been living in Glasgow since she was 11 years old, before that she lived in Beaumont and Tompkinsville. She has been married to her husband Beau for almost 10 years now and they have two boys, Logan and Connor. She has job shadowed and worked at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home since 2021, graduated mortuary school and is now working through her apprenticeship to become a licensed funeral director/embalmer. She has wanted to work for A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home when in 2012, she came here for the service of her Pa, watched the funeral directors take care of her family, made her understand that this was a profession she didn't know existed. Since that time, she wanted to be the person who helped the families in the most difficult time in their life and to help them honor their loved one's and show who they were.
Emily is 38 years old and lives in Summer Shade, Ky with her husband of eight years and their three fur babies. She has served the communities of Barren and Metcalfe County for 19 years. Over those years she spent her career working in long-term care at Glasgow State Nursing Facility until she finished her degree in teaching. She then became a Special Education Teacher at Metcalfe County Elementary School, where she spent five years. She is currently fulfilling a career change and lifelong dream to become a licensed funeral director and embalmer, and is glad to begin the journey by helping the families that we serve at A.F. Crow & Son through such a difficult time.
Cadance is 20 years old and graduated from Glasgow High School in 2022; she went on to pursue a higher education at Morehead State University for a year. In October of 2023, she began studying Funeral Services at Mid-America College of Funeral Service and is set to graduate in Spring of 2026. Cadance has taken the position of office administrator at A.F. Crow & Son, where she is gaining valuable hands-on experience while continuing her education in the funeral industry.
Jeff was born in Logan, Utah the oldest son of James R. and Faye Allen. Has worked in the funeral service profession for over 40 years. Recently retired CEO and owner of Sample Funeral Home.
Dale was born in Glasgow to E.D. & Zella Copas. He graduated from Temple Hill High School & attended B.G. Area Vocational School, where he studied Auto Body Repair. He has been married 50 years to Liz Copas. They have one son, Wade, & two grandchildren, Gavin & Berkley. He has spent 45 years in auto body repair. He has been an ordained Baptist minister since 1997, pastoring Freedom Missionary Baptist Church, Beech Grove Baptist at Eighty Eight. Beech Grove Baptist in Hwy. 1297, & Missionary Mound Baptist Church, near Edmonton. He has enjoyed working at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home since November 2019.
Mike is married to Phyllis (Walton) Mosby, they have a daughter, Lindsey & 2 grandsons, Kellon & Kamden. He has lived in this community since birth, graduating from Glasgow High School in 1973. In 1974, he became a member of the Glasgow Fire Department serving 28 years and retiring as a captain. He was also an EMT with the Barren-Metcalfe Ambulance Service the latter part of his career. Upon retiring from the emergency services, he became a Security Officer at TJ Samson Hospital for 17 years. Earlier this year, he joined the staff of A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home, and he is once again proudly serving the people of this community.
Martha is married to Greg Dickson for 40 years. They have a daughter, Sheena Doty, Son in law Philip Doty and their pride and joy grandson, Gunner Doty. She has lived in Barren County her entire life. She has worked at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home for 9 years and with Pampered Chef for 27 years. She takes pride in her job and working for A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.
